Renegades have completed the signing of Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas from EXTREMUM, with the Aussie finalizing his place on the team's roster ahead of their appearance in the IEM Katowice Play-In stage.
They added the 24-year-old riffler to fill the vacant spot on their roster after they parted ways with Liam "malta" Schembri in December.
Liazz has been inactive since EXTREMUM benched the entirety of its line-up in October, following an unsuccessful bid to qualify for PGL Major Stockholm.
The team fell short at the final hurdle after they faltered in the fifth-place decider of IEM Fall North American against Evil Geniuses.
The team also stumbled in most of their European tournament appearances throughout the early parts of the year, unable to rise to the same heights as the roster with Justin "jks" Savage had found against the 100 Thieves.
Liazz struggled compared to his previous numbers averaging just a 0.97 rating over the 110 maps he played for the team.

Renegades, meanwhile, have been a dominant force in Oceania over the last two years, but have struggled to rise to greater heights in their international appearances.
With Liazz back in the fold, Renegades should have a chance to get back in the hunt at the international level.
His first appearance for the team will come at the Play-In stage of IEM Katowice from February 15th-16th, where eight spots in the main event will be on the line.
Renegades line-up: Simon "Sico" Williams, Joshua "INS" Potter, Jordan " Hatz" Bajic, Alistair "aliStair" Johnston, Jay "Liazz" Tregiligas; David "Kingfisher" Kingsford (coach).
