Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins has been a major factor in his team's 3-0 start, and he has a chance to keep up his strong play in Week 5 against Michigan State.
Judkins transferred to Ohio State from Ole Miss after he scored 17 total touchdowns in each of his two seasons as a Rebel.
Through three games as a Buckeye, he has 36 carries for 336 yards and a team-leading five TDs, and he leads all Big Ten running backs by gaining 9.3 yards per carry.
Judkins has not carried the ball more than 15 times in a game this season, but he has gained over 100 yards in two games. He carried the ball nine times for 108 yards and two TDs in Week 2 vs. Western Michigan, and he had 14 carries for 173 yards and two scores in Week 3 vs. Marshall.
Back in Week 1, he had 13 carries for just 55 yards and a TD.
In the air this season, he has caught just two passes for 14 yards, and both those catches were in the Marshall game.
This matchup against the Michigan State Spartans projects to be Ohio State's toughest of the season so far. The Buckeyes beat Akron 52-6 in Week 1, Western Michigan 56-0 in Week 2, and Marshall 49-14 in Week 3.
Ohio State is ranked third in the nation for a reason, but Judkins will want to put on a show in his first Big Ten contest. Let's get into the running back's odds and player props for the Michigan State game.
