The Philadelphia Union have hit their stride in this season's Leagues Cup, and in the quarterfinals they take on one of the two remaining Liga MX teams, Mazatlan.
These are two of the surprise teams of the tournament given each team's play in its respective league this season.
Mazatlan sits in 17th place out of 18 teams with only one point through four games in Liga MX, while the Union sit just outside the playoff spots in 10th place in the MLS Eastern Conference.
Because of that, both these teams will be intent on winning as it would put them ever closer to the Leagues Cup trophy.
Philadelphia Union vs. Mazatlan will be exclusively streamed on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
Philadelphia Union vs. Mazatlan is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM ET/6:30 PM CT/4:30 PM PT on Saturday, August 17 with the game taking place at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Isaiah LeFlore will miss the match with a knee injury.
Jefferson Intriago and Nicolas Benedetti with each miss the match with leg injuries. Lucas Merolla is doubtful with a knee injury.
