Penn State vs. Boise State: How to watch College Football Playoff quarterfinal, TV channel, streaming, start time & stats

The No. 6 Penn State Nittany Lions (12-2) will take on the No. 3 Boise State Broncos (12-1) in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals on New Year's Eve.
Penn State beat SMU in the first round by a decisive 38-10 score to set up this Fiesta Bowl matchup with Boise State, who earned a first-round bye thanks to the CFP selection committee deeming them one of the four best conference championship-winning teams.
The Nittany Lions utilized a well-rounded offensive approach along with a dominant defense to get this far. Their first loss was at home to another Playoff team in Ohio State, and their second defeat was to No. 1 Oregon in the Big Ten Championship.
Boise State, meanwhile, leaned on workhorse running back Ashton Jeanty - who just finished second in Heisman Trophy voting - to run teams over throughout the season. Their one loss in 2024 was to undefeated Oregon back in early September.
