The month of March is set to be huge for boxing and begins almost immediately with a high-profile event set for March 2 that features Jake Paul and Ryan Bourland fighting on the undercard.
It will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico and will feature Amanda Serrano vs. Nina Meinke as the Main Event, with Serrano’s IBF, WBO and WBA Women’s Featherweight titles on the line.
Along with this Main Event will be the Co-Main Event between YouTuber turned professional boxer Paul and the recently retired professional boxer Bourland. This will be a fight in the Cruiserweight weight class and will be an eight-round bout.
This is certainly a huge opportunity for Paul, as he looks to continue his rise up the Cruiserweight rankings and will be fighting his toughest fight yet.
To further explain the details surrounding this fight, we have included the Tale of the Tape between Paul and Bourland and the fighter profile for both fighters as well.

Paul began his boxing career in 2018 with an Amateur fight with YouTuber Deji Olatunji.
He won this fight by technical knockout in the fifth round. Following this fight, Paul began his professional boxing career in 2020, fighting yet another YouTuber, AnEsonGib. Paul won this fight by technical knockout in the first round.
Over the next couple of years, Paul continued to pick up wins, but also continued to fight weak competition or guys who had never boxed. This included former NBA player Nate Robinson, former MMA star Ben Askren, former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley twice, and former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.
Come the start of 2023 in February, Paul finally had his first test: a fight against Tommy Fury, a real boxer.
Paul ultimately lost this bout by split decision. Following his first loss, Paul fought Nate Diaz, another guy with little boxing experience.
By the end of 2023, Paul fought Andre August, a fight he won by knockout in the first round. Paul now has accumulated an 8-1 record and has five wins by knockout and three wins by decision.
