Midfielder Jose Luis Rodriguez exited Panama's group stage opener in 84' due to an injury, and is questionable for the match against the U.S.
Jovani Welch is the only Panama player to be booked so far, and the midfielder will miss the third group stage game should he receive another card.
The U.S. is expected to put out the same starting XI from the Bolivia match, with only midfielder Tyler Adams a potential omission.
Adams, who missed the majority of the 2023/24 club season with a hamstring issue, played the opening 45' against Bolivia before being subbed out for Yunus Musah. USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter is expected to take a cautious approach with Adams throughout the tournament.
Josh Sargent, who missed a pre-tournament friendly against Brazil due to foot swelling, was an unused substitute against Bolivia.
Weston McKennie was the only player to receive a yellow card in the USMNT's opener, meaning he will miss the third group stage game against Uruguay if he gets booked against Panama.
