Syracuse officially begins the Fran Brown era on Saturday when Ohio visits the JMA Wireless Dome.
Brown, who left his role as defensive backs coach at Georgia for the SU head coaching job, is joined by Ohio State transfer QB Kyle McCord in central New York for the 2024 season.
Five seasons removed from Syracuse’s first 10-win season since 2001, Orange fans are hoping Brown, McCord and company can get back to competing in the ACC this season.
SU’s Week 1 opponent Ohio is coming off back-to-back 10-win seasons under Tim Albin. And while the Bobcats have lost some key players this offseason, including former MAC Offensive Player of the Year QB Kurtis Rourke, they are expected to provide a real test to the Orange on Saturday.
Ohio vs. Syracuse will be broadcast live on ACC Network. Streaming will be available on Watch ESPN, with a cable login required.
Ohio vs. Syracuse will kick off at 3:30 PM ET / 2:30 PM CT on Saturday, August 31 from the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York.
