Oakland's South Region odds shorten to +4000 after eliminating Kentucky

The No. 14 Oakland Golden Grizzlies entered the 2024 Men's College Basketball Tournament with +20000 odds to win the South Region.

After beating No. 3 Kentucky 80-76 thanks to 32 points and 10 made threes from Jack Gohlke, the Golden Grizzlies are now +4000 to win the South Region and make the national semifinals.

The Golden Grizzlies are now +20000 to win the tournament outright which, as a No. 14 seed, would make them the lowest seed to ever win the tournament.

Oakland is also +1000 to win two more games and make the South Regional final.

Odds for their matchup on Saturday against the No. 11 NC State Wolfpack have opened with the Wolfpack favored by -5.5 and Oakland being +210 Money Line underdogs.
