The present and future of men's tennis, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, will meet for the eighth time ever in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open.
Djokovic, who is 16 years older than Alcaraz, holds a 4-3 advantage in their rivalry, which began back in 2022 when Alcaraz beat the Djoker in the semifinals of the Madrid Open.
That said, the elder statesman also holds a 2-0 record against Alcaraz in the pair of matches contested on hardcourt. Will Djokovic continue that trend in Melbourne, or will Alcaraz finally beat his rival on a hard surface?
Novak Djokovic vs. Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Australian Open will be broadcast on ESPN2, which can be viewed through cable TV and streamed via live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV or FuboTV.
Streaming will also be available on ESPN+.
Novak Djokovic vs. Carlos Alcaraz is scheduled to start around 4:30 AM ET/1:30 AM PT on Tuesday, January 21st from Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.
