Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes get their 2024 College Football season underway with a potential trap game against nine-time FCS Champions North Dakota State.
Last season, Coach Prime and his new-look Buffaloes opened the campaign with a shock 45-42 victory over TCU, who had been to the previous season's College Football Playoff.
The Buffaloes bring back starting QB Shedeur Sanders and two-way superstar Travis Hunter, and the program brought in more than 40 transfers.
On the other side, the North Dakota State Bison went 11-4 last year and return their starting QB as well. They won their first of nine FCS Championships in 2011, but have not won it since 2021.

- Colorado transfer defensive lineman Samuel Okunlola had five sacks for the Pittsburgh Panthers last season.
- Colorado transfer WR Will Sheppard picked up 2,067 receiving yards and 21 TDs in four seasons at Vanderbilt.
