American sprinter Noah Lyles is the favorite to win the gold medal in the 200m race in Paris this summer.
Lyles is priced at -286 ahead of the race. The Florida-born sprinter earned the bronze medal in the 200m in Tokyo.
He won gold in the event at the 2023 World Athletic Championships as he became the first man to win the sprint treble - gold in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m events - since Usain Bolt did so at the 2015 World Championships.
Lyles' personal best in the 200m sprint is 19.31 seconds, which is a United States record. He achieved it in the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
That personal best is the fourth-fastest 200m time in the world, and Lyles also holds the ninth and 10th-fastest 200m times in history.
Plus, Lyles has won gold in the 200m in three consecutive World Athletics Championships. His three gold medals in the event put him behind only Bolt, who has four gold medals in the 200m at the World Championships.
In addition to being the favorite in the 200m, Lyles is the second-favorite in the 100m sprint.
