There are now just five weeks left of the NFL regular season and, while the playoff picture would usually be coming into a sharper focus at this time, both conferences are wide open this season.

The San Francisco 49ers won the big game of Week 13 with a convincing 42-19 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, while quarterback injuries continue to bite teams around the league.

This week’s slate has plenty of fascinating matchups as we bring you all you need to know about Week 14 and our top three games to watch.

Resilient Bengals take on Colts

Monday's win for the Cincinnati Bengals over the Jacksonville Jaguars breathed new life into their season and it means they can get back into the playoff mix if they can win at home against the Colts on Sunday.

Back at 6-6 after snapping a three-game losing streak with their 34-31 overtime win in Florida, the Bengals could move ahead of the Colts (7-5) in the AFC playoff race if they win this game to take the head-to-head tiebreaker.

While many would have thought the Bengals' season was effectively ended when quarterback Joe Burrow underwent surgery on his injured wrist, the performance of his replacement, Jake Browning, at Jacksonville suggested their playoff hopes are not yet over.

Browning passed for 354 yards and showed that the talent of wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (149 receiving yards) will not be wasted with the first-string QB on the shelf.

The Colts have put together a four-game winning streak under quarterback Gardner Minshew to improve from 3-5 to 7-5 and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is coming off back-to-back 100-yard games.

With the Colts boasting a 5-1 road record and the Bengals 3-3 at home, this could be a key game in the AFC wild-card race this season.

The Chiefs and Bills got together for amazing AFC Playoff showdowns in 2021 and 2022 and were expected to be battling for the top seeding in the conference again this season.

Things haven't quite worked out that way, with the Bills currently on the outside looking in, ranking only 11th in the AFC with a 6-6 record.

The Chiefs have remained among the favorites to represent the conference in the NFL Championship, but three losses in their last five games have set alarms ringing as they have fallen to 8-4 after a 6-1 start to the season.

That still leaves the Chiefs third in the AFC playoff reckoning and the reigning champions have a two-game lead over the 6-6 Denver Broncos in the AFC West, but a home loss to Buffalo would rightfully raise more concerns.

The Chiefs have lost to the Broncos, Eagles and, last Sunday, the Packers and QB Patrick Mahomes continues to be let down by an unreliable group of wide receivers, with the Chiefs defense in the unusual role of carrying the team for much of this year.

The Bills have lost three of their last four games and four of their last six, but showed enough in an overtime road loss to the Eagles before their bye last week to suggest they are getting back to their expected performance level.

Neither team will lack any motivation to do better in this matchup and this should be the must-see game of the week.

Cowboys looking for revenge against Eagles

OddsEagles +155 ML, Cowboys -3.5

After being comprehensively dismantled by the San Francisco 49ers last week by a 42-19 score, the Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) no longer have a comfortable cushion over the Dallas Cowboys (9-3) in the NFC East standings.

A win for the road team would also guarantee them the head-to-head tiebreaker after their 28-23 home win over Dallas in Week 9, but the divisional title would very much be up for grabs if the Cowboys draw level at 10-3 and cancel out that head-to-head edge.

While the Eagles lost momentum with their heavy home loss to San Francisco, the Cowboys have the wind in their sails after four straight wins and an entertaining showdown should be expected in Texas on Sunday night.

It could also be a key game in the race to be named NFL MVP, with Dallas QB Dak Prescott the current favorite at +300 and Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts joint-second favorite with Brock Purdy of the 49ers at +350.
