There are now just six weeks left of the NFL regular season and, as the best teams jockey for playoff positions, those that have underperformed expectations are beginning to think about offseason rebuilds.

The Carolina Panthers became the first team to fire their head coach this season when they let go of Frank Reich and others may follow in the coming weeks.

This week’s slate has plenty of juicy matchups at both ends of the spectrum as we bring you all you need to know about Week 13 and our top three games to watch.

Injury-hit Browns face resurgent Rams

OddsBrowns +165 ML, Rams -3.5

Written off a couple of weeks ago, the Los Angeles Rams are starting to pick up momentum after wins over the Seahawks and Cardinals.

They should face more of a test from a Cleveland Browns team that had beaten two of their AFC North rivals in close games before suffering a major setback against the Broncos last week.

Cleveland not only lost in Denver but came away from the game with some scars as several stars sustained injuries.

Pass rusher Myles Garrett, +150 to be Defensive Player of the Year, felt his shoulder pop out, top wideout Amari Cooper left the game after a big hit to his ribs and Dorian Thompson-Robinson suffered a concussion to add to the Browns QB problems.

Deshaun Watson has undergone season-ending surgery, so either PJ Walker, who has two starts for the Browns in 2023, or Joe Flacco, who was signed to the practice squad recently, will probably get the start.

The Rams have no such issues at quarterback with Matthew Stafford looking like the Super Bowl-winning version of himself in last week’s win over Arizona and RB Kyren Williams busting out for 143 yards and two touchdown catches in the 37-14 rout.

Trash talk hypes up NFC Championship rematch

This hotly-anticipated rematch of last year’s NFC Championship Game has been made spicier by Deebo Samuel’s notable offseason comments about Eagles cornerback James Bradberry, who he called 'trash'.

Bradberry, who was called for a crucial penalty in Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LVII loss to the Chiefs, made a critical third-quarter interception of Josh Allen in last week’s dramatic 34-31 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills.

Samuel, who had seven receptions for 79 yards and added a rushing TD in the 49ers’ 31-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks last week, can expect a frosty welcome at the Linc.

So too can Brandon Aiyuk, who gave the Eagles more bulletin board material with his assertion that "got extremely lucky" in last January’s clash.

In possession of the best record in football at 10-1, the Eagles have shown impressive resilience this year without consistently hitting the heights of last year.

Nick Sirianni’s staff can take more of the credit from the key adjustments made in the second half of several games, which has resulted in some dramatic comebacks.

Kyle Shanahan continues to work wonders in San Francisco with seventh-round QB Brock Purdy’s precision play proving that last season was no fluke.

The Niners are back on song after a three-game skid earlier in the season, which can primarily be attributed to injuries.

But whether they, as the road team, should be the favorites in this clash against a team with so much extra motivation and a quarterback like Jalen Hurts, is open to debate.

The outcome of this clash could potentially impact which of these teams gets to host the NFC title game, although Philadelphia can afford to lose one game and still hold on to the top seed.

But since these teams are +450 co-favorites to win the NFL Championship this season, both teams will desperately want a win to gain confidence and move into as high a seed as possible heading into the playoffs.

Chiefs must beware Love trap at Lambeau

The Kansas City Chiefs moved to 8-3 on the year by toughing out a win over division rivals the Las Vegas Raiders last week and that keeps them in contention to land the AFC’s top seed.

But any slip-up from now on could cost them home-field advantage in the playoffs and this is a classic 'trap game' against a non-conference underdog on the road.

The Green Bay Packers won their Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions on the back of Jordan Love’s best performance of the season.

Love’s early-season struggles may be behind him now as there appears to be some real chemistry developing between him and a young receiving corps.
