The Atlanta Falcons have shone in the primetime spotlight in the last two weeks and they will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football in Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season.
The Falcons return to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium at 2-2 after recording excellent road wins over the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints since quarterback Michael Penix Jr. returned to full health.
It is Baltimore who has to turn to a back-up passer this week as star QB Lamar Jackson has been ruled out by an ankle injury, so Tyler Huntley will lead the offense for the 3-1 Ravens.
It has been a season of two halves already for the Falcons, who were awful in their first two games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers having started the season with third-choice QB Cooper Rush under center.
The Kevin Stefanski era finally got going with a 35-14 Thursday night win over the Packers at Lambeau Field and the Falcons impressed again when beating the Saints 45-24 on Monday Night Football last week.
This match-up would have represented a much tougher challenge if the Ravens had been at full strength but with Jackson out of action the Ravens suddenly look much more beatable.
The NFC South teams have struggled so far in their games against the AFC North, with the Falcons losing to the Steelers, the Browns beating the Buccaneers and Panthers and the Bengals beating the Bucs, but the Ravens lost their first such match-up 24-17 to the Saints in Week 2 and this is a tough spot for them to be visiting Atlanta.
Baltimore were leading the Tennessee Titans 24-7 just before half-time last week when Jackson got hurt and Jesse Minter's team failed to score a point in the second half as the Titans covered the spread, losing by only six as double-digit underdogs.
Huntley's stats don't suggest he was all of the problem as he completed eight of his nine pass attempts for 63 yards and avoided turnovers, and he has won seven of his 16 career starts for the Ravens and Dolphins.
With an injury worry over top wide receiver Zay Flowers, who is bothered by a foot issue, the Ravens will look to running back Derrick Henry to power their offense, but the Falcons lead the league in rushing yards allowed per game at just 48.3.
The Falcons' superstar running back Bijan Robinson has been on fire with rushing-yard totals of 194 and 145 yards in his last two games and the home side have a great chance of picking up their first home success and winning by four points or more.
Bijan Robinson rightly gets the headlines for the Falcons but his backfield partner Brian Robinson Jr. is clearly also considered a key part of the offense by his head coach.
The former Commanders and 49ers RB has carried the ball at least nine times in every game this season with rushing yards totals of 31, 51, 50 and 62, and he had three touchdowns against the Saints on Monday to Bijan's two as the Falcons' ground game was dominant.
He is worth backing to have 34 or more rushing yards in Georgia on Sunday night.
While Jackson averaged 11.1 yards per pass attempt in the first half against the Titans last week, Huntley averaged just 7.0 yards despite having only one completion.
He is likely to be looking for short and intermediate passes again and that could lead to a busy night for tight end Mark Andrews.
The veteran TE had the second-most targets on the team last week and can exceed a modest receiving yards line of 31.5.
