Tom Brady is the runaway leader in Super Bowl appearances with 10. He made nine of those with the New England Patriots and his final one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he won an NFL record seven Super Bowls.
Stephen Gostkowski, the longtime Patriots kicker, is tied for second with six appearances.
Mike Lodish, a defensive tackle who played 11 NFL seasons and spent five of those with the Buffalo Bills and six with the Denver Broncos, also has six Super Bowl appearances. He made four with the Bills, all of which his team lost, and two with the Broncos, both of which Denver won.
Offensive lineman Joe Thuney is the most recent player to make six Super Bowls. He has been to three Super Bowls with the Patriots and three with the Kansas City Chiefs, although he was injured for the 2023 season's title game against the San Francisco 49ers.
A total of 25 players have appeared in five Super Bowls, and many of them were part of teams who made multiple Super Bowls in quick succession.
Patrick Chung, Devin McCourty, Matt Light, Tedy Bruschi and Matthew Slater made all five of their appearances with the Patriots.
Adam Vinatieri and Rob Gronkowski were Patriots for four of their five appearances. Vinatieri's last was with the Indianapolis Colts, while Gronk's last was with the Buccaneers.
QB John Elway, meanwhile, played for long enough that he made all five of his Super Bowl appearances as a member of the Denver Broncos.
A handful of players made all of their Super Bowl appearances with the 1970s Dallas Cowboys. Those players are Larry Cole, DD Lewis, Charlie Waters, Cliff Harris and Rayfield Wright.
The Chiefs recently made their fifth Super Bowl in six seasons. The players to be on the team in each one are QB Patrick Mahomes, TE Travis Kelce, DT Chris Jones, kicker Harrison Butker, DT Derrick Nnadi, and long snapper James Winchester.
The rest of the players made their appearances for multiple teams. No player has won the Super Bowl with three different teams.
