Atlanta Falcons vs. Las Vegas Raiders: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

Atlanta’s offense needs to find its rhythm again if the team are to reach the playoffs this season and Monday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders could be the occasion for the Falcons to get back to winning ways.

It’s been a disappointing period for the Falcons after a run of four-straight defeats at the hands of the New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers and most recently the Minnesota Vikings.

However, taking on a Raiders team that are currently on a nine-game losing streak and with a 2-11 record, the Falcons should fancy their chances of picking up the win when they head to Allegiant Stadium for this one.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Las Vegas Raiders betting picks and predictions

Atlanta Falcons -5.5 (-110)

While the Falcons have been on a poor run of form, they still find themselves in second place in the NFC South and in with a chance of leapfrogging the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into top spot.

However, they simply cannot afford to pass up an opportunity of a win against a Raiders team that will already be looking towards next season and how they can try to become competitive in the AFC West.

Atlanta’s last win was at home against the Dallas Cowboys but since then they have managed an average of 14.25 points on offense in their last four games.

Questions are starting to be asked as to whether Kirk Cousins is the right man to take this Falcons team forward.

Cousins has been able to deliver big wins this season, with a 22-21 success at the Philadelphia Eagles being a highlight.

The veteran quarterback needs to rediscover that form from earlier in the season and he looks capable of doing that against a Raiders defense that has conceded an average of 27.8 points per game this term.

Winning just one game at home this season, the Raiders don’t appear up to stopping the Falcons, with Atlanta looking likely to cover the spread against a Las Vegas defense that continues to concede points at an alarming rate.

Under 44.5 total points (-110)

While the Falcons should be too strong for the Raiders on Monday, this is unlikely to be a high-scoring shootout between these teams.

Atlanta’s offense is unlikely to go from zero to 60 in one game and the Raiders will look to try and frustrate the visitors in the early stages at Allegiant Stadium.

The Falcons will look to get the ball to running back Bijan Robinson and plays on the ground up the middle will take more time off the clock meaning less time to score.

Added to that, the Raiders’ struggles on offense this season, scoring just an average of 18.2 points per game, means the under 44.5 total points looks to be the way to go for this one in Vegas.

Bijan Robinson First Touchdown Scorer (+350)

While the Raiders will hope to keep the Falcons quiet in the early stages, this Las Vegas defense has shown that they do tend to fold eventually.

With Atlanta looking to Robinson on the ground and through the air, the Falcons’ running back is worth considering to score the first touchdown on Monday.

Scoring eight touchdowns this season, with four rushing and four receiving, Robinson is a double threat and is good value to score the opening touchdown here.
