New York Mets 2025 Spring Training: Key dates, schedule, location

The New York Mets went 40-27 in the second half of the 2024 season, rode that momentum all the way to the 2024 NLCS, and spent big in the 2025 offseason in an effort to improve even more.

The Mets signed Juan Soto to a 15-year contract that could reach $800 million in total value. They also brought back free agents Pete Alonso, Sean Manaea and Jesse Winker, and added pitchers Frankie Montas, Clay Holmes, and AJ Minter.

Mets owner Steve Cohen has gone all-in, and he'll hope the roster lives up to its status as the highest-paid in MLB as of early February.

The New York Mets' Spring Training takes place at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Clover Park is the home of the St. Lucie Mets, and the MLB club has hosted its Spring Training there since 1988.

Notable players who suited up for the St. Lucie Mets - whether there for a rehab assignment or to develop in the club's farm system - include Jose Reyes, Jacob deGrom, Billy Wagner, Pedro Martinez, Yoenis Cespedes, Tony Clark, Moises Alou, Michael Cuddyer, Keith Hernandez, Scott Kazmir and Jason Isringhausen.
