Two NFC East rivals meet in Week 2, both aiming for their first win of the 2024 season.
The Giants (28-6 loss vs. Minnesota) and Commanders (37-20 loss at Tampa Bay) both started the new season on the wrong foot, and both will feel they have a chance to get their first win on Sunday.
Washington rookie QB Jayden Daniels showed promise in his team’s loss to the Bucs, completing 17 of 24 passes for 184 yards while rushing for 88 yards and 2 TD. All eyes will be on the No. 2 overall pick yet again when he goes up against a capable New York defense.
Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers showed flashes in Week 1, catching five balls for 66 yards, but New York’s offensive success rests on the shoulders of QB Daniel Jones. The fourth-year QB did not lead his team to a touchdown drive vs. the Vikings and threw 2 INT, including one that was returned for a touchdown.
New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders will be available to watch on bet365's Sports Live Streaming and will also be broadcast on FOX, which can be viewed through linear and cable TV and streamed on live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV or FuboTV.

On NFC East matchups: "There's a lot that goes into the division because you'll know both teams know each other better. When you're playing the first game, usually the matchups, who's new, who's different, what's been the same and what we played different. The second time, what new wrinkles can you expect? But, I would say, man, like to be a part of this, what a cool honor. This is a strong division and has been for the history of ball."
On first home game as Commanders HC: "I'm really excited. As you're going through, like right now, it's the preparation and so I'm leaving my excitement for that there. But internally, honestly, I'm really fired up to do it. We got a small taste of it a couple weeks back at the end of the preseason. And so that was a first time for us and the team being in our locker room, coming out. And so to get a chance to do it this weekend, nothing better than starting with a division game in your home opener. So yeah, it's a really big deal and one that we're really pumped about."
On Jayden Daniels running the ball: "So the great thing about him, I know you guys know this, it is our first game. And he's gonna be an exceptional player. There are choices when to go, when to not, you do have to grow and learn into those. And I am a 100% certain that he will, but the other part of his game, there is legs and when there's times to go and create a first down and get an explosive, it's there."
On his Week 1 performance: “Yeah, I mean, I could learn and I could grow in every aspect of my game. Obviously, like I said after the game, I grade myself hard. We didn't get the win, so it's kind of like, alright, we go back, watch the film. You watch the tape, it's never as good as you thought it was, it’s never as bad as you thought it was. So, you just move on. You learn from those lessons that you learned on tape. Take the coaching, you move on to the next week.”
On how he knows when to take off and run: “I'll just say based off the situation, obviously that's situational things. You kind of just go from there. I can't really tell, it's like an instinctual thing, feel thing like, ‘Hey, the time is up.’ Obviously, you don't want to get hit by 300 pound-plus people. That's kind of growing up my whole life, man. It's like just an instinct. Like that time that clock in your head is like, ‘Alright, it's time to go.’”
On the New York Giants: “Yeah, obviously their front. Those guys that have a front can change the game. Very sound defense. Obviously, the dude came from Tennessee, [Defensive Coordinator Shane Bowen] so it is going to be a fun one.”
