Butler's arrival instantly boosted the morale of the team, as the former Miami Heat forward immediately provided a much-needed spark on both sides of the ball. Since his arrival, Steph Curry has stepped his game up in a major way, and the rest of the supporting cast has slowly raised their level of play over the course of the last month.  

As for the hosts, New York has established itself as one of the best offenses in the NBA, and the Knicks will surely be looking to make a statement against the 2022 NBA Champions on a national stage.

New York Knicks -4.5 (-110)

These two teams are both trending up heading into this game, which makes Tuesday's matchup an exciting battle on the hardwood. For the visitors, there's no doubt that the Warriors are a much-improved team with Butler in the fold, but they haven't exactly had to play a playoff-caliber opponent just yet. 

Golden State is also operating with a rest disadvantage in this game, having just played two games over the last three days, and this will mark the second game of a back-to-back as well. That doesn't bode well against a Knicks team that likes to play with pace and has one of the best offenses in the league, ranking only behind the Cavaliers in offensive rating this season. 

New York got off to a slow start coming out of the All-Star break, dropping games to the Cavaliers and Celtics in embarrassing fashion. However, the Knicks have since regained their footing, and they've repeatedly shown that they can win and cover as short home favorites this season.

Golden State's lack of available role players on its bench - Jonathan Kuminga and Gary Payton II are both day-to-day - could also be an issue in a game where this older team is a bit short-handed on the road. In general, the Warriors lack real difference-makers on their bench, which should result in favorable circumstances for New York when Curry and/or Butler are off the floor.
