Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Sacramento Kings: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

It’s six wins in a row for the Oklahoma City Thunder going into Tuesday evening’s clash with fellow Western Conference outfit, the Sacramento Kings.

The Thunder have the best record in the league and have lost just seven of their 35 games on the road as they prepare to head to California.

In contrast, the Kings have won just three of their last 10 games and are clinging on to their play-in place, with just 11 regular season matchups remaining.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Sacramento Kings betting picks and predictions

Oklahoma City Thunder -10.0 (-105)

Having already secured their place in the playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder could be forgiven for taking their foot off the gas.

That’s not been the case though, with Mark Daigneault’s men winning nine of their last 10 games and opening up a 13.5 game gap between themselves and second-placed Houston Rockets.

With some of their regular starters missing through injury, other players on the roster have stepped up to the plate and continued the team’s momentum.

Denver Nuggets are the only team to have beaten OKC since the turn of March and that run includes wins over the Clippers, Bucks and Celtics.

After claiming back-to-back victories over the Grizzlies and Cavaliers earlier this month, Sacramento have struggled in and around the paint in recent games.

Doug Christie’s squad managed just 108 points in defeat to Milwaukee on Sunday, before failing to reach triple-figures in Monday’s loss to Boston on their home court.

The Kings currently have an 18-18 record at the Golden 1 Center and are 24-23 to date when facing rival teams from the Western Conference.

Christie will be boosted by the return of Domantas Sabonis, with the center having missed the last three games due to a sprained ankle.

Malik Monk missed the defeat to Boston due to illness and the Kings will make a late decision as to whether he can play a part on Tuesday.

Chet Holmgren has been sidelined by a hip injury and looks unlikely to be risked on Tuesday, especially with a playoff place already secured.

Jalen Williams is also expected to sit out for OKC, as the Small forward continues his recovery from a hip problem, while Alex Ducas will miss his second consecutive game, as the Australian continues to struggle with a quad strain.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 3+ Threes Made (+215)

Gilgeous-Alexander continues to lead the way for OKC and heads the league for points scored, with an average of 32.8 per game.

He goes into Tuesday’s clash in Sacramento in great form, having scored 26 in the 101-103 win over the Clippers and 30 points in the crushing victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

The Point guard was the star of the show in this season’s previous meeting at the Golden 1 Center, scoring 37 points and claiming 11 assists.

Gilgeous-Alexander also drained four three-pointers in November’s 130-109 victory and with a couple of key players likely to be sidelined, he will likely have even more of the ball.

Oklahoma City Thunder to Score 130+ Points (+290)

OKC currently sit fourth in the NBA Team Scoring charts, averaging 119.8 per game, and have scored over 130 points in two of their last three games.

The Western Conference leaders, who have won their last four meetings against Tuesday’s opponents, fired 130 in victory in Sacramento earlier this season.

They then landed 144 points when they defeated the Kings in Oklahoma last month, with Sacramento failing to score more than 110 in both fixtures.
