Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Golden State Warriors Game 4: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals takes place on Monday night, with Golden State Warriors desperately trying to keep their hopes alive against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Steve Kerr’s men are currently down 2-1 to the Timberwolves, as the teams prepare to head back to the Chase Center in San Francisco.

A lot looks to rest on whether Steph Curry is fit to take his place on the court, with the Warriors struggling in and around the paint in the last two games.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Golden State Warriors Game 4 betting picks and predictions

Golden State Warriors +5.0 (-110)

Back-to-back wins have put the Timberwolves into the box seat ahead of Monday’s latest showdown by the Bay.

A strong fourth quarter display saw Minnesota claim a 97-102 win at the Chase Center on Sunday, as they took the lead in the series for the first time.

Curry’s fitness looks like being a significant factor in whether GSW can get level, with the four-time NBA champion missing Games 2 and 3.

The 37-year-old has been struggling with a hamstring problem and it remains unclear if he will feature in Game 4, although the signs are positive.

Curry successfully made it through what some quarters described as a “strenuous workout” over the weekend, including some shooting drills.

It looks unlikely the Point Guard will be able to play the whole game, but his presence on the court at any stage would be significant for the Warriors.

Even if Curry can come off the bench, the role of Jonathan Kuminga looks significant after his 30-point haul in Game 3.

Prior to this series, Golden State had won each of their last three meetings against the Timberwolves, with no more than 10 points separating the sides in that trio of matches.

Minnesota’s star man of the series to date has been Anthony Edwards, who has scored 20 or more points in the last three games.

Edwards fired 36 in Game 3 and with Julius Randle also chipping in with 24 at the Chase Center, it feels like the home team needs Curry on court to almost change the mindset of the Timberwolves.

Under 200 (-105)

Two of the three games in the series have seen under 200 points scored and with the teams so evenly matched, it could be a similar story on Monday.

GSW have failed to reach three figures in the first three games and Kerr’s men have scored under 110 points in nine of their last 10 playoff games.

The Timberwolves are also not firing on all cylinders around the paint, with Chris Finch’s squad averaging 105.5 points during their playoff matchups.

You have to go back to April 11 for the last time Minnesota scored over 110 in a game and that came in an overtime success over the Denver Nuggets.
