Milwaukee Bucks vs. Golden State Warriors: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

The Warriors suffered the third-biggest loss in franchise history on Sunday, and they may struggle to bounce back when they welcome the Bucks to the Chase Center.

Golden State lost 140-88 to the Boston Celtics on Sunday. The Bucks have been inconsistent this year, but seem to have finally found their rhythm under Doc Rivers, winning their last six games.

Prior to the season, these two would have both been in the conversation for the championship but, right now, only Milwaukee seem like genuine contenders with the Warriors way off their best.

The Bucks are second in the Eastern Conference standings - albeit some way off Boston - while Golden State are all the way down in 10th in the West.

We have selected our three best bets for an intriguing matchup, including a couple of player props.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Golden State Warriors betting picks and predictions

Milwaukee Bucks Money Line (+135)

The Warriors will have had almost three days rest by the time of tip-off, but that still may not be enough to see Steve Kerr get the desired reaction from his team following their destruction in Boston.

The meeting between the pair in Milwaukee last month saw the Bucks win 129-118 and Doc Rivers’ team could enjoy a similarly comfortable victory in California, with Golden State winning only seven of their last 16 home games.

The Bucks have won their last four away games - all by five or more points - in a run that has included victories at strong teams such as the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves, suggesting Milwaukee should brush the Warriors aside with ease.

Star man Giannis Antetokounmpo could be back for this clash but even if he is not, Damian Lillard scored 41 points in the Bucks’ defeat of the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday and he along with the rest of Milwaukee’s well-rounded roster should be strong enough to see off the challenge of a faltering Golden State team at the Chase Center.

Damian Lillard over 25.5 points (-120)

As mentioned, Lillard enjoyed a huge night on Monday when scoring 41 against the Clippers and he could be set to follow up against another Californian team at the Chase Center.

Lillard has impressed since being named the All-Star game MVP and has always enjoyed playing the Warriors throughout his career, averaging 28.7 points in his 35 games against Golden State.

He scored 27 when the two met in Milwaukee in January and that came at a time when he was yet to find his feet in Wisconsin and Rivers was not in charge, suggesting he should match that number or get an even greater total in San Francisco.

Jonathan Kuminga over 0.5 threes (+145)

Warriors’ youngster Jonathan Kuminga has endured a torrid time from deep lately, failing to make any of his last eight three-point attempts, although history suggests that may be about to change.

He has averaged 19 points in his four previous contests against the Bucks - 7.6 above his career average - and knocked down two of his three shots from beyond the arc when the two teams met in January.

Additionally, if Antetokounmpo is out then his chances of notching at least one three-pointer will increase exponentially. The Greek Freak is an exceptional defender and will likely keep a close eye on Kuminga - as well as Steph Curry and Klay Thompson too - but should he be absent, the youngster could find even more space to get his shots away.
