Who is the favorite to win the MVP Award for the second edition of the NBA Cup?
LeBron James won the award in 2023 - when the event was called the NBA In-Season Tournament - as a result of leading the Los Angeles Lakers all the way to win it. In seven tournament games, he averaged 26.4 points on 60.6 percent shooting from three with 8.0 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 1.6 steals per contest.
Now, ahead of the 2024 version, more players know what it takes to make a deep run in this unconventional competition, and that could see the competition heat up for both the trophy and the MVP Award.
