Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers Game 4: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

The Boston Celtics have been dominant in the postseason, winning 13 of 15 games so far and on Monday evening, they can complete a sweep of the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals.

Boston is 5-0 on the road in the playoffs, and that is where they will be for Game Four against Indiana. Read below to see our experts’ picks and predictions for this game.

Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers Game 4 betting picks and predictions

Pacers +8 (-110)

The Celtics already overcame one little consistent playoff hiccup when they took care of business at home during the first two playoff series, winning Game Two this time around.

Indiana has played valiantly, but with Tyrese Haliburton potentially sidelined again, they’ll be on the repose against the Celtics from the opening tip.

However, the Pacers have kept the games close, taking Boston to overtime in the series opener and down to the wire in Game Three.

Game Two was also fairly close until the very end, when Boston pulled away for a 16-point victory. The Celtics are 13-2 in the playoffs overall, but just 4-6 against the spread in their last 10 and 1-4 ATS in their last five against Indiana. The Pacers, meanwhile, are 27-19-2 ATS at home.

Look for the Celtics to close out the series, but for Indiana to cover the 8-point spread.

Jayson Tatum under 30.5 points (-120)

Tatum is having another strong playoff scoring performance this spring, averaging 26 points, 10.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 13 games. In this series, Tatum has gone for 36 twice and is averaging nearly 32 points a game.

Here’s the thing, though. For most of the playoffs, Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been alternating who ends up being the lead dog in the scoring column. Game Four is Brown’s turn. Tatum should have another fine all-around game, but score under 30.5 points.

Jaylen Brown over 25.5 points (+100)

Brown has been right there with Tatum in terms of playoff performance this spring. He is averaging 24.7 points and 6.2 rebounds in 13 games. He is averaging 30 points in three games against Indiana, highlighted by a standout 40-point night in Boston’s Game Two victory.

He has gone for 24, 40, and 26 against Indiana in order, while Tatum has gone for 36, 23 and 36 again. Look for Brown to take the reins again to close out the series and go for more than 25.5 points in the clincher.

Total over 222.5 points (-110)

The Celtics have played to the over in each of their last five games, and all three games in this series with the Pacers have gone above 222.5 points.

With the Pacers fighting for their playoff lives, and the Celtics looking to close out the series, look for some serious up-and-down action for much of the contest, and look for the teams to play to the over once again.
