Myles Garrett Next Team Odds: Browns favored to keep star, Eagles are second-favorites

Myles Garrett wants to win a ring, so he requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns.

The four-time first-team All-Pro has played in three career playoff games over eight seasons, and the team has had a winning record twice in his tenure in Ohio.

Garrett has had 10+ sacks in each of his last seven seasons and, even at 29 years old, will be coveted on the trade market.

The Browns, according to reports, want at least two first-round picks in exchange for Garrett.

Let's take a look at which teams the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year could start the 2025 season with.

The Cleveland Browns reportedly have no interest in trading their star player, so they have the shortest odds (+160) to be Myles Garrett's team for the 2025 season. That said, reports recently surfaced that the superstar defensive end is "not open" to a contract extension in Cleveland.

The newly-crowned champion Philadelphia Eagles (+225) are the new second-favorites after reports said that Garrett could be a target if Eagles GM Howie Roseman wants to take a big swing. The Eagles were +550 third-favorites to acquire Garrett before the start of March, but with DE Josh Sweat headed for free agency and Roseman's tendency to be active in the trade market, the team's odds shortened.

The Washington Commanders (+400) are third in the odds to start the season with Garrett on their roster. They have seven picks in the 2025 NFL Draft and tradeable young players on rookie deals such as DE Johnny Newton and CB Mike Sainristil, but they'll likely do all they can to avoid parting with any of their young core after making a run to the NFC Championship in the 2024 season.

No other teams have odds shorter than 15/1 to acquire Garrett. The Buffalo Bills (+1600), Detroit Lions (+1600), and Chicago Bears (+1800) are the next teams in the betting.

The Bills' odds got longer after they had been +600 before the NFL Combine. They finished tied for 18th in the NFL with 39 sacks in 2024, and Garrett's talented presence could help them finally get past the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs.

The Lions are fifth in the odds after their defense was decimated by injuries in 2024, which helped derail their championship aspirations. Garrett has played at least 10 games in each of his eight NFL seasons, and he's played in at least 16 in each of the past four seasons.

The Bears will look to add some star power after QB Caleb Williams' underwhelming first season in which he played under three different offensive coordinators. The defense was fine as it ranked in the middle of the league in sacks and turnovers forced, but the addition of Garrett would also bring an experienced presence to the locker room.

Further back in the odds, from 20/1 to 35/1, are the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys.
