Mount St. Mary's vs. American: How to watch First Four game, TV channel, streaming, start time

No. 16 Mount St. Mary's and No. 16 American will do battle on Wednesday evening for a chance to reach the round of 64 and a date with No. 1 Duke in the East region.

Mount St. Mary's earned their tournament bid by winning the MAAC tournament over Iona. It marks the Mountaineers' seventh men's tournament appearance in 37 years as a Division I program, all of which they have been a 16-seed.

In 2024/25, Mount St. Mary's hung its hat on defense and finished as the 33rd ranked team in the nation in FG% allowed (.406). The team has five players averaging more than 9.5 PPG, led by forward Dola Adebayo with 13.2 PPG.

American, the Patriot League tournament champs, are in their fourth men's tourney in program history and first since 2013/14, when they were a 15-seed.

The Eagles allow 67.3 PPG, the 50th best mark in Division I, and do a good job of running their opponents off the 3-point line, allowing just 6.1 3PM (21st in Division I) and 18.5 3PA (18th in Division I) per game.
