Montreal Canadiens vs. Buffalo Sabres: Series Odds, Lines, and Futures

The Montreal Canadiens notably won Game 7 against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Round 1 after having just nine shots on goal, but a win is a win.

They'll now face off against the Buffalo Sabres - an electric offensive powerhouse that beat the Boston Bruins in six games in the first round.

Alex Tuch and Tage Thompson were the two stars of the show for the Sabs, each recording seven points. Tuch scored four times while Thompson had five assists.

The Canadiens had a grueling round one matchup where four of the seven games went to overtime and no game was decided by more than one goal.

They put on a defensive clinic against the likes of Nikita Kucherov, Jake Guentzel, and the rest of the Tampa offense, and Montreal will look to do the same against Buffalo.

Offensively, it was Lane Hutson and Nick Suzuki that carried the load, with each having six points in those seven games.

It should be a tremendous series between a high powered offense and a stout defense, and it all starts tonight at 7:00 PM ET from Buffalo.

Ahead of Game 1, let's take a look at the series props, odds, and lines on bet365:
