Monterrey vs. Inter Milan: How to watch, streaming, start time

Less than three weeks on from losing in the UEFA Champions League finals to PSG, Inter Milan begin their Club World Cup campaign against Liga MX side Monterrey.

Inter had a stellar campaign end sour when they lost 5-0 to PSG in Munich on May 31, the biggest defeat in UEFA Champions League final history, and finished second to Napoli by a point in Serie A. The Italian club has since parted ways with manager Simone Inzaghi, with club legend Cristian Chivu taking his post.

Their opponent Monterrey is partaking in the Club World Cup for a third time, qualifying via their CONCACAF Champions League title in 2021.

But it hasn’t been as pretty for the Liga MX side as of late - most recently they were knocked out in the quarterfinal of the 2025 Clausura, just four months on from losing in the final of the 2024 Apertura to Club America.

Inter and Monterrey are joined in Group E by River Plate and Urawa Red Diamonds.
