The Copa America is in full swing across the United States but the MLS action continues as we edge ever closer to the playoffs.
The battle for postseason action is wide open in the Eastern Conference as just three points separate bottom club Chicago Fire from Atlanta in ninth, the final playoff place.
The picture is perhaps a little clearer in the West, as San Jose Earthquakes and Sporting Kansas City are off the pace at the foot of the conference, but 12th-placed St Louis are still very much in contention with six points the difference between themselves and Vancouver Whitecaps in ninth.

Inter Milan were expected to struggle when Lionel Messi linked up with Argentina for international duty but so far they’ve managed two wins from two games in the absence of their superstar forward.
Gerardo Martino’s side boast the best record across MLS and they can ensure they finish this round of fixtures as the Eastern Conference leaders by winning in Nashville on Saturday night.
The Herons have six wins and just one defeat in nine road games so far and are unbeaten in six on their travels across all competitions, winning five of those games.
Nashville can be tough to break down at home and have only lost twice in 11 games at this venue - but they’ve also only managed four wins and they may find Inter just a bit too slick even without Messi.
Charlotte FC are riding high in fourth spot in the East and have recently hit some form on the road, winning three of their last four away outings.
They head to a Houston Dynamo side who are unbeaten in five but have only managed two wins during that run. Dynamo’s form has dipped at home as they have won just one of their last six at Shell Energy Stadium across all competitions, so Charlotte can get a result here.
The big price available on an away win does look tempting, but Houston have only lost twice at home in nine MLS games, so backing the visitors to either win or draw looks the better option.
Seattle endured a terrible start to the season with just one win in nine games but they are starting to hit their stride and the postseason spots are in sight.
The Sounders have three wins and just one defeat in their last six and have been particularly strong at their Lumen Field home, where they are unbeaten in seven and have won their last two.
Seattle should be able to continue their revival by taking down Chicago Fire, who have just seven points to show from nine road games (W1, D4, L4), but a consolation effort from the visitors is expected.
The Fire have scored 12 goals across their nine road outings and have netted in each of their last six games overall, while Seattle have conceded in 10 of their last 11 games across all competitions.
Columbus Crew forward Juan ‘Cucho’ Hernandez is in red-hot form with five goals in his last three games, including a hat-trick against SKC last time out.
The Colombian striker can continue his purple patch when the Crew travel to New England Revolution this weekend.
The Revs have managed to find a bit of form and are on a four-game winning streak but they have conceded in three of those victories, and have shipped 30 goals in 17 MLS games so far, so Hernandez can find a way through their leaky defense.
