LAFC sits second in the Western Conference after a brilliant run of form, claiming seven consecutive victories across MLS and the US Open Cup. They face Orlando City, a team with plenty of talent that hasn't quite clicked this year, on Saturday,
Los Angeles hasn’t conceded across each of its last six games, so this visit to Orlando should be straightforward for a side seeking to return to the top of the Western Conference standings.
Meanwhile, Orlando heads into Saturday’s game having suffered two defeats in its last three MLS matches.
City’s last home game brought a 2-0 loss to Columbus Crew, so this side seems vulnerable against an LAFC outfit that is well-priced at +155 for the points.
No side in the Western Conference is on a worse run of form than Sporting Kansas City, who face a high-powered LA Galaxy team this weekend.
Struggling Sporting has suffered seven defeats in eight MLS outings, although they have failed to score just once in that stretch.
This has been an encouraging season to date for LA Galaxy and, while a 2-1 loss at Chicago Fire was a tough way to start the month, a return to the Dignity Health Sports Park should provide a boost.
Galaxy has won four of its previous five home games, although each of the last four have finished without a clean sheet.
Take LA Galaxy to record another win, but Sporting KC can score in a defeat once again and that is available at +175.
Former Belgium international Christian Benteke won’t be heading to Euro 2024, which is a boost for an out-of-form DC United as they prepare to visit Charlotte FC this weekend.
The ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool forward has 13 goals in 15 appearances in MLS this season, almost half of which have come in road games.
Benteke has scored five times across his last three away matches and a visit to a struggling Charlotte side should see the Belgian big man add to his tally.
Charlotte has conceded five times across its last two games, so Benteke appeals as an anytime goalscorer at +175.
Saturday sends the Whitecaps on a long trip to the East Coast to face the New England Revolution, but no Western Conference side has secured more away points this term than Vancouver.
The Canadian outfit visits a New England side which is languishing at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, losing 10 of 15 MLS games to date.
While both teams have won their last two matches, the Ryan Gauld-led Whitecaps look the stronger of the two teams and, with the visitors also priced at +175 for the win, they are the value play.
