With the Copa America in the rear-view mirror, the soccer focus in the USA once again returns to MLS and there is a jam-packed schedule on the cards this weekend.

LA Galaxy dethroned rivals LAFC at the top of the MLS Western Conference thanks to a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday, while in the Eastern Conference Inter Miami remain out in front.

With Lionel Messi unavailable, Miami impressed with a 3-1 win over Toronto on Wednesday and they take on Chicago this Saturday.

Over 3.5 goals in Atlanta United vs. Columbus Crew (+110)

Form has fluctuated for both Atlanta United and Columbus Crew in the MLS this year but goals have been a constant and over 3.5 goals looks a smart pick at +110 when they meet at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Star playmaker Thiago Almada has moved on for Atlanta but they are still finding the net, having drawn 2-2 with New York City last time out.

That was the sixth time in their last seven matches in which both teams have scored and both teams should cause problems up top in this one.

Columbus Crew have racked up the goals recently, posting two 4-0 wins and two 5-1 wins within their last six contests, and they can contribute to a high-scoring fixture.

Philadelphia Union to beat Nashville SC (-112)

Philadelphia Union were in the headlines this week after a 5-1 thrashing of New England Revolution and Union can follow up by beating Nashville.

That was a much-needed win for Philadelphia, who were on a 10-game winless streak beforehand, but they should fancy their chances in this contest.

Not only will the thrashing of New England have acted as a major confidence-booster but Nashville have not exactly been electrifying this season, winning just six of their 24 games and losing 3-0 to Orlando last time out.

Nashville have particularly struggled in front of goal recently, losing five straight matches and scoring just three times in the process.

Philadelphia should keep things tight and justify their price of -112.

Seattle Sounders to beat Los Angeles FC (+140)

The wheels have come off for LAFC recently and, on Wednesday, they lost top spot in the MLS Western Conference to California rivals LA Galaxy.

They have failed to win back-to-back MLS fixtures, firstly going down 5-1 at home to Columbus Crew before an underwhelming 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake in midweek.

The Californian club is there for the taking at the moment and Seattle is the kind of team who can capitalise.

The Sounders have reeled off six straight wins in all competitions, defeating New England, Austin and St Louis in their last three MLS games without conceding.

They are worth a bet at +140 to win this match.
