San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

Another wild week in the MLB is coming to a close as we end with a fierce NL West rivalry between San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers.

This game is set to take place on Sunday night at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The first pitch is expected to be at 7:10 PM ET, and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Our article will give you a full preview of this NL West rivalry between the Giants and Dodgers, which will include our best bet for the game, as well as our best home run prop.

Additionally, we will provide you with the current money line, total, and run line odds, plus some of the home run odds for the best players on both teams.

San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers betting picks and predictions

Under 9 Total Runs (-105)

Our first best bet for this game between the Giants and Dodgers will target the total to go under.

The Giants enter this game with a record of 41-30 following their 11-5 loss in Game 2 of this series on Saturday and lie one game behind the Dodgers in the NL West.

San Francisco is set to start Kyle Harrison for the series finale. So far, Harrison has a record of 1-1 with an ERA of 4.56.

As for Los Angeles, they will counter with Dustin May, who has a record of 3-4 and an ERA of 4.46.

Despite both lineups being near the top of the league and both pitchers having a below-average ERA, the under could be worth a bet here. This is because both starting pitchers will be pitching to their strengths this season.

For May, he has been excellent at home, posting a record of 2-1 and an ERA of 2.97. In six home starts he has allowed 11 earned runs over 33.1 innings.

The same goes for Harrison, who has consistently been good on the road this season. Harrison is 1-1 away from home and has an ERA of 2.65 in five road appearances (three starts).

This is a total to be careful with, as the Dodgers can seemingly get hot during any inning.

That being said, because of the home/road splits for May and Harrison, respectively, backing the under 9 total runs at -105 will be our best bet.

Shohei Ohtani To Hit A Home Run (+210)

Our second best bet will target Shohei Ohtani to hit a home run. He has a total of 25 home runs this season, the third most in the MLB, behind only Aaron Judge and Cal Raleigh, who both have 26.

Ohtani had been on a 10-game stretch where he failed to hit a home run, but ended this streak on Saturday as he hit two homers.

Therefore, based on the fact that Ohtani found his power just a day ago, backing him to hit a home run at +210 in his second consecutive game will be our second best bet.
