The 2025 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025.

The 2025 MLB All-Star Game will take place at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, the home of the Atlanta Braves.

The 2026 All-Star Game location is also set, as the Midsummer Classic will be hosted by Philadelphia's Citizen's Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

How to watch MLB All-Star Game, TV channel and streaming

The MLB All-Star Game will be shown live on FOX in the United States. Streaming will be available on any service that carries FOX, such as YouTube TV or fuboTV.

How does MLB All-Star Game voting work?

The MLB All-Star teams are decided by a combination of fan voting, player voting, and commissioner's office selections.

Fan voting: Fans vote for the starting lineups for the American League (AL) and National League (NL) teams. The fan vote counts for 50% of the total vote.

Player voting: Players vote for the reserves and pitchers for each league. The player vote counts for 25% of the total vote.

Commissioner's office selections: The commissioner's office selects six additional players in each league (four pitchers and two position players). These selections are made to ensure that every team is represented by at least one All-Star.

In addition to the starters and reserves, there is also a Final Vote. This is a fan vote to determine one additional player for each league. The Final Vote is held after the rosters have been announced.

The 2024 MLB All-Star Game was the 94th in history, with the first edition taking place in 1933.

There were no All-Star Games in 1945 (World War II) and 2020 (COVID-19), while there were two All-Star Games held per season from 1959 to 1962.

MLB All-Star Game MVP award

The MLB All-Star Game Award is an annual award given out to the top performer in the All-Star Game. The first All-Star Game MVP award was given out in 1962 to two players, Maury Wells and Leon Wagner.

The award, named the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award since 2002, is a glass bat engraved with the winner's name. Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran won the most recent ASG MVP in 2024.

Willie Mays, Steve Garvey, Gary Carter, Cal Ripken Jr. and Mike Trout have the most All-Star Game MVP wins, each taking home the award twice.

The name and trophy for the award has changed over the years. It was formerly known as the Arch Ward Memorial Award (1962-1970) and Commissioner's Trophy (1970-1985).
