Two of the NBA's top teams - the Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks - meet on Thursday night in a contest both teams will feel they need to win.
The Bucks have lost four of their last five, dropping games against the Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns. Minnesota is 5-5 in its last 10, struggling to keep leads since Karl-Anthony Towns scored 62 points in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets nine games ago.
Both teams sit in good positions, but they will need to pick up their play if they want to hold onto their places in the standings. The T-Wolves are tied for first in the Western Conference at 35-16, while Milwaukee is 33-18, third in the Eastern Conference and six games back from the East- and league-leading Boston Celtics.
