Minnesota Timberwolves will take on Los Angeles Clippers in the play-in tournament after missing out on a top-six seed in the Western Conference.
Minnesota are 70/1 to win the NBA Championship outright and the Clippers can be backed at 35/1.
The Timberwolves claimed a 127-121 victory over San Antonio Spurs on Thursday to keep their top-six hopes alive, but they were then extinguished as Denver Nuggets' win over Memphis Grizzlies ensured they will finish the regular season in seventh spot.
The Clippers are already locked in to finish eighth, meaning these two teams will meet in the play-in tournament.
The winner of that game will claim the seventh seed, while the loser will then play the winner of the game between New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs for the eighth seed.
The LA outfit won the regular season series between the two teams 3-1 but they haven't met since early January and Clippers guard Terance Mann expects a stern test when the pair clash in the play-in tournament.
"It's definitely not going to be easy because we did see them very early on and they're playing with a different type of confidence, different dynamic," he said, via the LA Times.
New Orleans and San Antonio are set to meet in the other play-in game but as yet it remains to be seen which team will finish ninth and have home court advantage for that clash.
San Antonio need to win their final two games and the Pelicans would need to lose twice for the Spurs to claim ninth place.
