Mexico and Honduras meet in the second CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinal on Wednesday night.
Mexico, the defending champions of this competition and all-time winningest nation at the Gold Cup, face a resilient Honduras side for a spot in the 2025 final.
El Tri finished top of Group A then cruised to a 2-0 quarterfinal win over Saudi Arabia, while Los Catrachos got to this stage having bounced back from a 6-0 defeat to Canada in their group stage opener before tallying three-straight wins, including a come-from-behind victory in penalties in the quarterfinal against Panama.
The winner of this semifinal will face the winner of USA vs. Guatemala in the Gold Cup final on Sunday, July 6.
