The men's 4x100m relay competition begins on Thursday morning, and the USA enter as favorites.
That's thanks to American sprinter Noah Lyles winning the 100m and his compatriot Fred Kerley grabbing the bronze medal in that race.
Lyles and Kerley will be joined by Kenneth Bednarek and Christian Coleman on the relay team, and those four will be tasked with getting to the finish line ahead of Jamaica, which is Team USA's biggest competition.
Last time out in Tokyo, Team USA failed to make it out of the preliminary rounds. The Stars and Stripes finished sixth in a heat where the seven teams that finished were separated by less than a quarter of a second.
The men's 4x100m relay at the Olympics will be broadcast on USA Network for the preliminary rounds and on NBC for the final - both networks can be viewed through cable TV or live TV streaming apps like YouTubeTV or FuboTV. NBC can also be viewed through linear TV.
Both the preliminary and final races can be streamed on Peacock.
The men's 4x100m relay final is scheduled to start at 1:47 PM ET/10:47 AM PT on Friday, August 9 with the race taking place at Stade de France in Paris, France.
