Major League Soccer will enter its 29th season in 2024.
The regular season runs from February 21 to October 19, 2024, with dates for the MLS Cup playoffs still to be determined, although the MLS Cup, the league's championship game, is slated for December 7, 2024.

The regular season runs until Decision Day on October 19, before the teams that qualify for the playoffs battle for the MLS Cup, with the final due to be on December 7.

Apple has broadcast and streaming rights for MLS after signing a 10-year deal in 2022.
They will show all MLS matches and selected minor league matches, with this all available on the MLS Season Pass within Apple's TV app.

Each team in MLS will play 34 regular season games, 17 at home and 17 away.
The two teams that lead their conferences at the end of the season will go straight into Round One of both the playoffs and the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Teams finishing second to sixth go straight into Round One, while eight and nine go into a Wild Card round, where they face off in a one-off tie.
The regular season also will pause between July 26 to August 25 for the fourth edition of the Leagues Cup, the knockout tournament which also features sides from Liga MX. However, MLS will not break for the summer's Copa America, hosted by the USA.

The MLS All-Star Game is an annual exhibition soccer match held in the middle of the season in July or August. The game features the best players from MLS, selected through a combination of fan voting, media voting, and player voting, playing against an international opponent, which could be another league's all-star team, a specific club team, or a national team.
