Major League Cricket 2025 Outright Odds

Who will come out on top in the third season of Major League Cricket?

MI New York won the league's inaugural championship in 2023, while the Washington Freedom won the title in 2024.

Ahead of the season, let's take a look at the odds to win the 2025 Major League Cricket title.

MI New York, captained by one of the world's best T20 batters in Nicholas Pooran, are the +350 favorites to win outright in Major League Cricket 2025.

MINY's other key players are fast bowler Trent Boult, wicketkeeper-batter Quinton De Kock, and allrounder Kieron Pollard. They also have some talented American players, such as Monank Patel and Nosthush Kenjige.

Second in the outright market are the Los Angeles Knight Riders at +375. They're captained by allrounder Sunil Narine, who led their sister team, Kolkata Knight Riders, to the 2024 Indian Premier League championship.

LAKR also has batter Rovman Powell, fast bowler Anrich Nortje, and allrounder Sherfane Rutherford. Their top American players are Matthew Tromp, Corne Dry, Nitish Kumar, and Shadley Van Schalkwyk.

The reigning champion San Francisco Unicorns and Washington Freedom (+450 each) are tied for third in the outright betting entering the season.

Washington has a strong group of bowlers led by Jason Behrendorff, Lockie Ferguson, Rachin Ravindra, and American and reigning MLC leader in wickets taken Saurabh Netravalkar. Glenn Maxwell is their captain, and last year's skipper, Steven Smith, may make a few appearances between commitments for the Australian national team.

The Unicorns are captained by American Corey Anderson, who replaces Australian national team bowler Pat Cummins. The Unicorns should score plenty of runs with Anderson, Finn Allen, Jake Fraser-McGurk, and Romario Shepherd all capable of putting up big totals.

The Texas Super Kings have the second-longest odds at +500. Veteran batter Faf Du Plessis is their captian, and allrounder Marcus Stoinis is sure to make a big impact in all facets of the game. They'll be supported by bowlers Noor Ahmad, Nandre Burger, and Akeal Hosein, as well as batters Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell.

The Seattle Orcas have the longest odds at +600. Heavy-hitting wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen is their captain, and he has a collection of talented batters around him, including David Warner, Shimron Hetmyer, and Americans Steven Taylor and Aaron Jones. Their top bowlers are Obed McCoy and Fazalhaq Farooqi.
