Luka Doncic is set to make his Los Angeles Lakers debut on Monday night vs. the Utah Jazz.

The 5x All-NBA First Team selection is expected to take the court for the first time since Christmas Day, when he suffered a calf injury while playing for the Dallas Mavericks. Doncic was then shipped from Dallas to L.A. on Feb. 1 in one of the most shocking trades in American professional sports history.

In 22 games prior to the trade, Doncic was averaging 28.1 PPG (lowest since 2020/21) and 7.8 APG (lowest since 2019/20), although the 25-year-old is coming off a 2023/24 season in which he carried the Mavericks to the NBA Finals.

Doncic won the 2023/24 NBA scoring title with 33.9 PPG, finishing a career-best third in MVP voting.
