Two of the SEC's top programs - who are each ranked in the top five - face off on Thursday when the South Carolina Gamecocks (18-1, 6-0 SEC) host the undefeated No. 5 LSU Tigers (20-0, 5-0 SEC).
Head coach Dawn Staley's Gamecocks are National Championship hopefuls, and their only loss of the season was back in late November on the road against then-No. 1 UCLA. South Carolina has beaten ranked teams in each of its last three games and will look to make it four in this matchup.
LSU is undefeated heading into this matchup, but they have only played two ranked teams so far this season. The Tigers have six ranked opponents in their 11 remaining games, so this game might be a preview of how the rest of their season will go.
LSU vs. South Carolina will be broadcast on ESPN, which can be viewed via cable TV or streamed via live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV or FuboTV.
LSU vs. South Carolina is scheduled to tip off at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT on Thursday, January 23rd from Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.
LSU: Shayeann Day-Wilson, Flau'jae Johnson, Mikaylah Williams, Aneesah Morrow, Sa'Myah Smith
