Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez has been the team's best player for much of the season, and he will be relied upon to help the Guardians to a fast start in the ALCS against the No. 1-seed New York Yankees.
Ramirez ended the 2024 regular season with a .279/.335/.537 slash line to go with 39 home runs, 118 RBI, 173 hits and 54 walks. He led his team in WAR and finished sixth in the American League in that stat.
The six-time All-Star did not get off to the best possible start in the ALDS, hitting just .188 in five games, but three walks plus one double and one home run saw him end the series with a solid .788 OPS.
In the ALCS against the Yankees, he will look to add a little more consistency back into his hitting game while keeping the same pop in his bat. Let's take a look at Ramirez's odds in key markets for Game 1 of the series.
