Auburn Tigers forward Johni Broome ended the regular season as the favorite to win the Wooden Award, but through two tournament games, he has not fully reached his usual standards.
In the 2025 tournament, he's averaging 11.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.0 block, and 0.5 steals. Those numbers are well below his season averages, except for rebounds. Plus, he hasn't been as efficient as usual: Broome is shooting 40.9 percent overall in the two games and is 0/7 from three.
Broome's first-round performance against No. 16 seed Alabama State was much better than in the second round against No. 9 Creighton. Broome shot 55.6 percent against Alabama State but just 30.8 percent against Creighton.
In the round of 16, Auburn faces a Michigan Wolverines team with more size than just about any team in the nation, with seven-footers Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin in the frontcourt. But if anyone can defend that duo, it's Broome and his frontcourt partner, Dylan Cardwell.
Ahead of Auburn's clash with No. 5 seed Michigan, let's look at Broome's player props, lines and odds.
