St. Louis native Joaquin Buckley is about to take on the highest-profile challenge of his five-year UFC career.
Buckley will take on former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, who held the belt from 2019 to 2021, at UFC Fight Night on Saturday, June 14, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Despite his championship pedigree, Usman enters this bout having lost each of his last three UFC bouts, and he hasn't stepped into the octagon in almost two years.
As a result, Buckley enters the event as the -275 moneyline favorite. He is on a six-fight unbeaten streak stretching back to May 2023.
Buckley is also +175 to win by decision, +150 to win by KO/TKO/DQ, and +1400 to win by submission.
Three of Buckley's last four fights were won by KO/TKO. Will the fighter nicknamed "New Mansa" be able to win against the highest-profile opponent he's faced to date?
