Ohio State Buckeyes (12-2) WR Jeremiah Smith has been a key reason for his team's success in the College Football Playoff so far, and he'll take the field again in the semifinal matchup against the Texas Longhorns (13-2).
After 14 games in his first College Football season, Smith has 70 receptions for 1,224 yards and 14 TDs, and he has rushed five times for 52 yards and a score. His receiving yards and receiving TDs both lead the Big Ten.
In the CFP first-round win over Tennessee, Smith caught six passes for 103 yards and two scores. He was even better in the quarterfinal win over Oregon, catching seven passes for 187 yards (26.7 yards per catch) and another two TDs.
