Jake Paul is a -230 favorite to defeat former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson when the two face off on November 15.
In what has been classed as one of the fights of the year, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will finally face off in the ring this Friday.
First announced in March 2024, the fight was postponed from July to November after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up while aboard a plane.
The bout will be the first of its kind to air exclusively on streaming giant Netflix, while being hosted at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Paul, who is 31 years younger than Tyson, has transitioned from YouTuber to professional boxer over the past six years. His 10-1 professional record, while impressive, has largely come against retired athletes and mixed martial artists. Paul’s sole loss came against Tommy Fury via split decision in February 2023.
The Cleveland, Ohio native most recently fought bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry on July 20, the original date of his fight against Tyson.
Paul is a sizeable -230 favorite to pull off what would be his biggest win yet over arguably the most famous boxer since Muhammad Ali.
It will mark Paul’s first fight in the heavyweight division (200+ lbs), too, as the 27-year-old has historically fought as a cruiserweight (175-200 lbs).
Can Paul hand Tyson his seventh career loss on Friday night?
