In-state rivals collide on Thursday night as the No. 3 Iowa State Cyclones visit the Iowa Hawkeyes in the latest edition of the Cy-Hawk Series.
Both teams enter this matchup with seven wins, although the Cyclones have faced a much tougher schedule with two top-five opponents already, while this game will be the Hawkeyes' first against a top-25 team in the 2024/25 campaign.
Iowa State lost by two to then-No. 4 Auburn in late November before beating then-No. 5 Marquette by 11 points last week. The Hawkeyes have suffered losses to Utah State and Michigan, but they have beaten a major-conference opponent in Northwestern.
