Indiana vs. Notre Dame: How to watch College Football Playoff first round game, TV channel, streaming, start time and stats
Rusty Gorelick
The 12-team era of the College Football Playoff kicks off on Friday night when the No. 10 Indiana Hoosiers (11-1) visit the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (11-1).
Indiana went undefeated in its first 10 games before falling to Ohio State in its second-to-last contest of the regular season. Despite missing out on the Big Ten Championship, head coach Curt Cignetti's team earned an at-large bid to the postseason.
Notre Dame suffered arguably the worst loss of any team in the Playoff back in Week 2 - a 16-14 defeat to Northern Illinois - but they were flawless the rest of the way with wins over Louisville, Navy, Army and USC.
