Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever enter Wednesday’s Game 2 against the Connecticut Sun in a win-or-go-home situation.
Clark’s WNBA playoff debut on Sunday did not go as expected, considering how well she and the Fever rounded out the regular season. The rookie phenom shot 4/17 (2/13 3PM), her worst shooting game since June 2. As a result, Indiana dropped the first of a three-game series, 69-93 against the Sun.
DeWanna Bonner (23 points) and Alyssa Thomas (12 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists) led the way for Connecticut in Game 1, while Marina Mabrey added 27 points off the bench.
