The Indian Wells Open — also known as the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells for sponsorship purposes — takes place in early-to-mid March with the Men's Singles Final scheduled for Sunday, March 16.
Let's take a look at the latest outright odds for the men's singles competition ahead of this weekend's semifinals.
Carlos Alcaraz | -225 |
Daniil Medvedev | +400 |
Jack Draper | +600 |
Holger Rune | +1000 |
Alcaraz, the back-to-back winner of this event, is the -225 favorite to capture a third-straight Indian Wells title.
The Spaniard, still only 21, has four career Grand Slam titles and five ATP 1000 wins. Alcaraz is yet to drop a set at this year's Indian Wells and will face Great Britain's Jack Draper - a familiar foe at this venue - in one of two Saturday semifinals.
Draper (+600) is seeking his first ATP 1000 final appearance, as well as revenge on Alcaraz, who knocked him out of this year's Australian Open Round of 16, as well as in the 2023 Indian Wells Round of 16.
The 23-year-old is much improved over the last calendar year, and has proved it in California this March with victories over top-ranked Americans Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton on his way to the semifinal.
Daniil Medvedev (+400) is second-favorite to win what would be his seventh ATP 1000 event. The 29-year-old will face off against Holger Rune (+1000) in the second semifinal on Saturday.
Medvedev reached each of the last two Indian Wells finals, losing to Alcaraz in straight sets on both occasions. The 2021 US Open champion last won an ATP 1000 event at the Italian Open in May 2023.
Rune, 21, is hoping to reach his fourth-career ATP 100 final, having done so most recently at the 2023 Italian Open, where he lost to Medvedev.
